Happy Tax Day

From Political Wire:

A new Gallup Poll finds 48% of Americans saying the amount of federal income taxes they pay is "about right," with 46% saying "too high" -- one of the most positive assessments Gallup has measured since 1956. Typically, a majority of Americans say their taxes are too high, and relatively few say their taxes are too low.

First Read: "In the last few years, the GOP has seen its advantage on the issue of taxes deteriorate, and it's something that has thrown the party for a loop -- as without taxes as a rallying cry, the GOP has found itself with fewer issues to brag to the public about."
And, of course, the obligatory soundtrack:

One of George's best efforts.

What, you didn't attend one of the Fox News Tea Parties today?

I'm not really into teabagging. Though I am impressed that so many conservatives have embraced a movement supporting lewd sexual acts. And to do so in public! I might have to re-think my politics.

It just goes to show that I'm probably too old for blogging. I was in a fraternity in college, I thought I'd heard of everything.

Actually, I had heard of everything. I just didn't know that in more recent years there had been specific terms assigned to everything possible.

Well, I guess. :) But I'm out of touch. I was as clueless as the guys at Fox that there was a name for it even though I'm familiar with the practice.
